Date Ideas

These ideas have been adapted from random lists I have collected over the years. Some of these are a little corny, but those are the funnest activities to do. There are a ton more ideas out there. Leave a comment or two of your favorite date ideas and they will be added to the list.
  1. Go to the library
  2. Go to the park and swing on the swings
  3. Watch the sunset
  4. Play frisbee or frisbee golf
  5. Go to bookstores
  6. Visit model homes or an RV showcase
  7. Visit an art gallery
  8.  Ice or roller skate
  9. Play checkers
  10. Go on a picnic
  11. Feed some ducks
  12. Play cards
  13. Try walking on tin-can stilts
  14. Go snipe hunting (they are real)
  15. Hunt fossils in the desert
  16. Have an Easter egg hunt
  17. Watch passing cars. Each person chooses a color. See who can count the most cars their color.
  18. Have an lemonade stand
  19. Work on genealogy
  20. Take a nature walk
  21. Try musical duets with a kazoo
  22. Decorate garbage cans
  23. Have a minature dinner on doll dishes (cornish game hen, little jell-o molds, birthday candles for center piece, and mini pies
  24. Put together an ant farm or invest in sea monkeys
  25. Do homework together
  26. Make candles
  27. Pick fresh fruit and make ice cream
  28. Have a pizza decorating contest
  29. Have a popcorn sculpting contest
  30. Carve a watermelon

  4. Go to Canyon Lake (its a gorgeous drive)
  5. Ride the carousel at the Superstition Springs mall
  6. Go the the Scotsdale Center for the Arts
  7. Go the to Mesa Museum for the Youth
  8. Visit Montezuma's Castle
  9. Visit Jerome (Arizona's most vertical city)
  10. Visit the Desert Botanical Garden
  11. Go to the Grand Canyon
  12. Go tubing down the Verde 
  13. Visit Sedona and Oak Creek
  14. Visit Grand Falls (when the snow is melting - has a bigger rock face than Niagara Falls)
  15. Take a stroll around the Mesa LDS temple
