- Visit model homes or an RV showcase
- Visit an art gallery

- Hike to a waterfall and attempt to follow the feeding stream to the original source
- Bake cakes or pies
- Carve pumpkins for Halloween

- Have a paper-airplane flying contest
- See the world's highest fountain at Fountain Hills
- Climb Squaw Peak
- Drive to Cave Creek to look around
- Go to Canyon Lake (its a gorgeous drive)
- Ride the carousel at the Superstition Springs mall
- Go the the Scotsdale Center for the Arts
- Go the to Mesa Museum for the Youth
- Visit Montezuma's Castle
- Visit Jerome (Arizona's most vertical city)
- Visit the Desert Botanical Garden
- Go to the Grand Canyon
- Go tubing down the Verde
- Visit Sedona and Oak Creek
- Visit Grand Falls (when the snow is melting - has a bigger rock face than Niagara Falls)
- Take a stroll around the Mesa LDS temple
